Tree Aeonium

Tree Aeonium (Aeonium korneliuslemsii = Aeonium arboreum; Crassulaceae)

Ibicenco: consolva

This species with yellow flowers comes from Western Morocco. Many of the other Aeonium species are endemic to the Canary Islands. On the Pityuses Aeonium is frequently planted as an ornamental plant which does not need much water.

To treat wounds or burns, on Ibiza leaves are taken, are broken in two and used to rub on the sick parts of the body.
