Spearmint (Mentha spicata = Mentha viridis, Lamiaceae)

The spearmint is a native to France and Italy and is cultivated elsewhere in gardens.
Spearmint can be used in similar ways as peppermint. It is efficient against stomach ache. In toothpastes it is used for its taste. In Morocco a cultivar, the nana mint, is used in green tea.
